  • Jyuto is embarrassed to admit he’s a little excited to spend the holiday with someone. He hadn’t really bought anyone presents or made a stocking in such a long time, he honestly couldn’t even remember the last time he spent this holiday in high spirits. He was lucky, he supposed, that your relationship had even lasted to the point you got to spend your first Christmas together with how often worked wanted to interfere with his personal life. Thankfully he was able to at least spend the morning hours with you even if he was on call. 
  • He feels like a kid on Christmas morning getting to wake up next to you and he has to hold himself back when he’s the first to rise, fingers brushing against your face as he quietly admired you. He wants to do nothing more than pepper your face in kisses but he holds himself back, tossing and turning in an attempt to sleep in but knowing he’d likely not get back to bed before you finally woke up.
  • He admitted that he looked forward to this, to getting to spend more Christmases with you, not even just this holiday but all the other ones that prioritized family above all. He had been without one for so long that he had forgotten the joy that came with spending the entire day with someone you loved, with getting them presents and decorating the house for the specific holiday. He thanked you for showing him that days like these could still have meaning even after all he’d gone through.
