 Nurude Sasara

• Hysterical laughter. That’s all you hear for the next minute as Sasara glanced up at the mistletoe, nervously backing away before stepping closer just in case someone else tried to weasel their way under it with you. You raised an eyebrow at his odd, erratic behavior, especially the way he was acting as if you were proposing and not simply asking for a kiss (which you weren’t technically asking for). You stared at him doing his comedy show with an audience of one though his loud behavior was starting to attract the attention of others at the party with you, to the point you were starting to be embarrassed despite not being the one to make a scene. You squeezed Sasara’s face between your hands before telling him to take a deep breath, demanding he make a decision then and there if he wanted to kiss you. Instead of answering he whipped out his fan, which you hadn’t even noticed he brought, using it to hide your faces as he leaned in to press a nervous kiss to your lips. He started to laugh again afterward but you hooked an arm with him, pulling him to a more secluded place so you could shut him up appropriately.

Tsutsujimori Rosho

• Rosho feels the fluttering in his stomach start immediately, glancing up at the mistletoe that seemed to be dangling mockingly above the two of you. He wanted to launch at Sasara who was snickering to himself off to the side, the bespectacled man almost having no doubts that his friend had been the one to set this up. The fact that there are enough people around that they could look over and see the two of you kissing sets Rosho even more on edge, muttering to you that he’d prefer to continue ‘this conversation’ somewhere without an audience. The chance to kiss Rosho was not something you were going to let pass you by and you’re quick to snatch up his hand, pulling him off to somewhere more secluded. Rosho teased you despite feeling like he’s the more vulnerable one in this situation, asking if a kiss from him was really worth all this trouble (he’s quick to kiss you to shut you up as you confirm he is, indeed, worth the trouble).

Amayado Rei

• You can’t say you’re unused to seeing Rei’s romantic side as rare as it might be but you hadn’t expected him to spend the holiday by your side. It was a nice night spent in with wine and idle chatter, Rei’s arm solidly wrapped around your shoulders as you curled up comfortably into his side like you were meant to sit there. When he pulled out the mistletoe you were a little surprised that he would even entertain one of the little things you had been hoping to experience during the holiday season, asking him if there’s some catch to all the positivity he’d been showering you in lately. He faked being hurt but that smirk worked its way back to his face, warning you that it would be dangerous to fall in love with a man like him but he was still selfish enough to try to woo you. He dropped the mistletoe on the table in front of you as he swooped down to steal a kiss from your lips, wondering when, not if, the time would come where he could no longer kiss you as he pleased.
