Aohitsugi Samatoki: 

  • Samatoki is not the motherly patient type. He gets annoyed by your groaning, telling you to just shut up and go back to sleep if you don’t feel good but he doesn’t leave you alone the entire day. He generally managed his own work schedule so deciding to just stay home was never an issue, not when he had a variety of people working under him who could handle shit unless it really hit the fan. You’re surprised that he even wanted to be around you with how annoyed he seemed with you but in the end it was anger born of worry, with Samatoki hating to see you in this much pain.
  • You always knew he could cook but his soup makes you feel at home, sitting up in your blanket pile as Samatoki served it to you piping hot (after reminding you not to get it on the bed or you’d lose bed privileges, being demoted to being sick on the couch). He sat beside you and waited expectantly for your confirmation that the soup was good and helping you feel at least a little better, Samatoki using the back of his hand to feel how hot your fever was running. When you asked him about if he had any experience as a doctor he muttered something about caring for a sick Nemu when she was younger but quickly clammed up about it. 
  • You only noticed the tension leaving his body when your fever went down, the symptoms you had finally disappearing until you felt good as new. You had to thank Samatoki for all that he’d done for you even if he seemed to just complain the whole time, knowing that it wasn’t all too serious and that he did deeply care about you, enough that he went outside of his comfort zone to care for you. He told you repeatedly that no thanks is needed as he was just doing what he needed to do to help you get better, growing flustered as you pinched at his cheeks and told him how cute it was when he acted all tsundere.
