Yamada Jiro: 

  • If you’re not open with the fact you crave physical affection from Jiro he’s not going to have any idea what’s going on. You want him to hug you and kiss you and hold your hand all the time? Really? He’ll do it as he feels it’s his duty as your boyfriend but he doesn’t realize that it’s due to being ‘touch-starved’; he’s bad at noticing the little things at first but if you give him some time, patience, and honesty, he’ll get the ball rolling.
  • He feels a little proud and somewhat embarrassed that he’s the only one that can bring you this comfort, this sense of love, since he’s your boyfriend and all and he’s the only one with permission to show this type of intimacy. Luckily, he loved cuddling with you when it was just the two of you and he enjoyed it when you settled yourself on his lap, trying to keep his internal screams of ‘They’re too damn cute!’ inside. 
  • There are days where he’s craving you too, even something as simple as you cupping his face or brushing his hair out of his eyes, he just needs it to feel better.  Being able to rely on someone like this, to appear vulnerable in front of them, wasn’t something that Jiro had ever thought would happen but he supposed that’s just what romance did to a man. He was no stranger to shoujo manga so he saw it happen on the daily, he just hoped he wasn’t as stupid as some of the main characters in them so you’d never feel neglected or unloved.
