  • He could already kind of see it before you’d ever confessed to him, the way you looked at her wasn’t the way you looked at someone who was just a friend. It just wasn’t a situation he wanted to deal with as he had mixed feelings and since you seemed to be capable of keeping your hands to yourself he just let it slide by. He knows that he might one day have to deal with the potential of being good friends with the person dating his sister but he supposed he was lucky it was you and not some pain in the ass man who he’d have to get a feel for. 
  • Samatoki’s lack of reaction when you finally confess to having feelings for Nemu set you on edge, he always reacted, even being disgusted or angry would’ve been fine in your book. He leveled you with a calm stare and shrugged his shoulders, asking if you wanted his permission or something to date his sister. He said it was up to her and dropped the subject, ignoring your messages for a few days as he goes through the emotional turmoil that comes with worrying about the future of an important friendship. What if you did date Nemu and things didn’t work out? How the hell was he supposed to choose sides? You were important enough that he couldn’t just easily discard you just from Nemu’s request, as much as he loved his sister he loved you too. 
  • He eventually admitted that as long as you treated his sister right he could bless the relationship, although he also noted that he didn’t want ANY details and would prefer being left out of it for the most part. He could already tell that your feelings for Nemu were returned and that there was nothing he could do to stop you from being together, he just hoped that if you ended up breaking up things would still remain positive between you.
