  • Should he feel threatened? He doesn’t think so. He knew how you felt about him and as much as it bothered him that your best friend was clearly in love with you, he knew better than to involve himself in your business. He couldn’t see anything involving the friendship ending well but he was secure enough in your relationship that he knew he could trust you without a doubt. The only thought that irritated him is when the two of you fought, knowing your best friend was whispering in your ear that you should just leave Jyuto every single time. 
  • He really hates when the weeks at work are busy and the days are long because that means he doesn’t get to see you as often. It also means your best friend swoops in to spend time with you which was not something Jyuto would normally mind, he’d rather you not be lonely, but it just so happened your friend had a thing for you. It would bother him if he thought your best friend saw this as anything more than just hanging out and he’s been tempted to bring it up to you more than once. Knowing that your best friend got to see you far more often didn’t sit right with him but that was his own fault, not you or your friends. 
  • There’s some solace in knowing that you came back to Jyuto at night, that after a long day of being out with your best friend you still found yourself in Jyuto’s arms, telling him how much you loved and missed him. The topic doesn’t come up often but you’re always clear if your friend had said anything that rubbed you the wrong way, not wanting to act like you were hiding anything from Jyuto and mentioning that your friend could jokingly flirt all he wanted, he was no closer to winning your heart than he was before you’d even started to date Jyuto.
