Is it alright to ask for rook headcanons where he's teaching his and s/o's lil daughter archery? He can be at the older age ofc! [I hope I requested correctly and parent hqs are fine w u!!♡]

Rook Hunt: 

  • Rook is a thankfully patient and understanding teacher, able to tell what teaching style suited your daughter best. She was much like him in that she enjoyed a more hands-on approach and, after stressing about safety measures to assure she wouldn’t get hurt while practicing her archery (per your request, he didn’t seem particularly worried), he allowed her to fire off a few arrows to give her a feel for what she’d been doing. It brought a tear to his eye to see his own child taking after him and he promises to be the best possible teacher she could ask for. 
  • He’s the proudest father in the world when she manages to hit the center of the target but there is evermore challenges to overcome, teasingly asking if she’s ready for the moving targets now. Your daughter had never been one to turn down a challenge and accepts her fathers words with vigor, nodding her head and demanding he put them up now so she could test her skills out. Rook is a bit surprised but supposed he shouldn’t be as he had seen how full of passion she was for the art of archery when he first used his bow in front of her. 
  • It soon became the only thing she could talk about and though your daughter might not have an interest in hunting down animals and hurting them, she does like to test her stealth skills as it makes more sense if she’s to use a bow against her foes. A bow combined with magic would certainly be a force to be reckoned with and you can tell how excited Rook is to see how she’ll flourish as she grows older, telling you that even if she left behind the bow they’d always have the beautiful memories of him teaching her.
