James Ironwood: 

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?): 

  • Ironwood is a little stiff when it comes to cuddling as emotional things, actions of a touchy-feely nature, didn’t come naturally at all. He was far better at being led around by the hand and even if these were things he thought about doing with you daily he still couldn’t help but hesitate. He’s always polite, asking if you’re comfortable or if this position is okay, fingers linking with your own when you finally get yourself comfortable laying against him. You have to admit you feel nothing but safe in Ironwood’s arms and as time passes he loosens up quite a bit though he’ll always ask if you want to cuddle rather than initiating without permission.

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?): 

  • Ironwood is very direct and can come off a bit aggressive when it comes to feelings; he can view too many things in a black or white range with very little grey area in between which can lead to some emotional complications down the line. He doesn’t see the point in beating around the bush once your feelings are made clear to each other and though a bit awkward, he’s a man who tries to gather his thoughts before he starts speaking so he seems to have it together. But he’s also endlessly patient and doesn’t want to be too pushy within your relationship, knowing different people operated at different paces, hoping that one day you might sync up but perfectly content to see where life takes you.

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?):

  • Ironwood wants you to have a comfortable life but he’s never been the type to coddle his significant other so he certainly isn’t the type who would take care of you and let you breeze through life. He would be supportive and encouraging of your endeavors and he always assures that you’re safe, but material possessions take a back burner. Does he know the things you like? Of course. Does he think you deserve these nice things? Absolutely! Holidays and birthdays are when he feels the need to splurge the most but he doesn’t generally get many gifts in between. He’s more likely to spend his money on goods you absolutely need and may not be able to get yourself rather than aesthetic gifts or ones that are just for fun.
