Aohitsugi Samatoki: 

• Samatoki is protective. You need him to walk you home at night? He’ll be there. You’re feeling unsafe in your apartment? He’ll come spend the night on your couch to assure you you’re safe (or better yet, just have you come stay at his place for a few days). People around Yokohama know not to mess with you, even rival Yakuza gangs think twice about using you as some sort of leverage against the ticking time bomb that is Samatoki.
• A thing to remember when you’re dating Samatoki is that he’s not a man that’s good with his feelings but he does have strong emotions. Accusing him of not caring for you just because he can’t display them properly is sure to be a heavy blow, worried that he’s making you feel unloved while full of fear as he doesn’t know what he can do to fix this. His face is red the entire time he talks to you about how he truly feels, when he finally throws away his fear that emotions equal weakness. He finds solace in how positively you respond to his honesty and makes it a point to at least be straight-forward with about what he wants or how a situation makes him feel; there’s still struggles but you know he’s actively trying to be a better partner every day. 
• Samatoki really likes to surprise you with dinner. When you’re out for work sometimes you’ll come home to a heavenly smell in your shared home, your heart a total mess as you see Samatoki hard at work in the kitchen. You were surprised to learn he was relatively good at cooking and that he actually enjoyed it from time to time, almost always making your anniversary dinners and insisting on making your favorite meal for your birthday as homemade cooking was better than any restaurants food. You liked to tease him about how his food tasted so much better because he put so much love into it, ignoring the flustered response of ‘If you say shit like that I won’t cook for you again!’ as you know it’s incredibly untrue. 

Yamada Ichiro: 

• Ichiro isn’t the type to be embarrassed by basic PDA, liking to hold your hand in public and often kissing your cheek to greet you. With how well-known he is it’s also well-known that you’re a couple and you receive a lot of support for your relationship, often talking to those who are fans of him wishing you both well. It can be a little embarrassing and overwhelming but Ichiro does a lot for the community meaning people can’t help but think of you as a good person too.
• Family activities are important to Ichiro as he very much sees you as being part of his family now even after you’ve only dated for a few months. Family dinners with his brothers, family move night, going out together, cheering for them all in the division battles, loving and supporting all three of them is incredibly important to Ichiro. He expects the same from his brothers, of course, and their opinions on whether you’re a viable partner or not are important; if they don’t approve of you and he can tell it’s not just regular old jealousy because you take up his time, it’s not likely he’ll see a future with you. 
• Ichiro is normally a very relaxed boyfriend but there’s nothing that gets him antsier than seeing you put yourself into dangerous situations without thinking twice. If you were to interact with Samatoki or Rei he would be on edge the entire time, afraid of you being used against him (or worse, manipulated to turn against him) and he would attempt to keep you away from the both as much as he possibly could. He’s more tight-lipped about his issues surrounding both of them than he is Kuko but he knows he’ll inevitably have to explain these important aspects of his life to you sooner rather than later. It takes a lot of emotional energy from him to recount his past and as long as you’re willing to hold him in your arms afterward, he’ll spill it all to you.
