Emerald Sustrai: 

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?): 

• Emerald finds you to be a dependable person, someone she can lean on, someone she can trust in, someone who will protect her and who she can expect respect from. She had gone through an overly dependent relationship where she hadn’t recognized her worth and despite still appreciating all that had been done for her she was far more knowledgeable about how she deserved to be treated now. But she never doubted that you would care for her properly, able to tell from the moment you met that you were a far more loving type than her other person had ever been. She can find solace in you on hard days and can even be the person to bring you comfort without fear of you lashing out on your bad days, everything all around is just much less like walking on egg shells and she couldn’t be more grateful.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?): 

• There’s no place Emerald feels safer than burrowed in your arms, having your fingers running through her hair while she listens to the sound of your beating heart. She can be a bit needy once the two of you establish a relationship and though she keeps up a front in public, it’s game over once it’s just the two of you. She confesses it’s all she thinks about doing when she finally has you alone and pulled away with worry as she asked if that makes you uncomfortable, looking relieved when you confirmed you enjoyed seeing this more cuddly side of her. She tells you that she’s still not afraid to kick your butt into gear if she ever has to but it’s clear how much she loves you and how refreshing it feels to let the worries of the world melt away around you as you cuddle up with the love of your life.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?): 

• Emerald was more likely to get insecure at the beginning part of your relationship as she felt a little more insecure, like the happiness she had been chasing for so long might be taken away from her if she wasn’t vigilant enough. She grew annoyed with the way people would approach you as if they knew you, taking your friendliness as some sort of invitation to get closer when they should be keeping a more respectable distance. You can tell when her temper flares up at you that she’s upset but unwilling to speak up honestly about it unless it continues to grate on her nerves, knowing it’s a problem she has to work out for herself but not knowing how to make herself feel better about it. Having an open conversation where you’re understanding about her feelings while also instilling confidence in her that your heart is truly hers and she has no competition.

S = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?): 

• Physical affection had always cheered Emerald up as well as having some to just vent to who would listen without having to plaster constant optimism into the conversation. She much preferred when a person talked with realism in mind as she had seen the worst parts of life and knew they were out there so there was no reason to lie to her face that things would be okay just because you thought it was what she needed to hear. She doesn’t need someone completely miserable either but a nice balance would certainly be the best in her opinion, it’ll relieve her of some worries and better prepare her for the quickly approaching future.
