A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?): 

• You bring Qrow this sense of peace, this feeling of ‘things are going to be okay’ despite life constantly proving otherwise. He thought it was a dangerous thing at first, thought that perhaps these good feelings were a bad omen and that it would all come crashing down; he was beginning to care for you more and more and he was starting to turn to you in his times of need rather than go about it alone. You never took advantage of him, you would scold him when he deserved it and coddle him when that was the best course of action, you always seemed to know just what to do to bring him comfort. Knowing that you weren’t disillusioned about who he was, that you knew him inside and out and loved him anyway, was what truly made Qrow realize that your love for him was so sincere it hurt. He liked not having to play a guessing game, liked being able to be honest with you knowing you’d return that same energy, and you’re the first person that he truly feels like he can lean on. What could be more attractive than finding someone who you could seek solace in?  

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?): 

• The memory that was once bittersweet as it was your first time saying farewell is also one you now remember fondly due to your relationship with Qrow evolving over time. Before the two of you headed off into the world after graduating from Beacon he had given you a necklace with one of his rings on it to serve as a reminder of him, with Qrow clearly implying you might never see him again despite the consistent communication for many years afterwards. The two of you came back together during the Vytal Festival and from there it developed into a genuine relationship rather than some back and forth that had no real purpose behind it. You now hung your engagement ring from it alongside the original silver ring that you had carefully cared for all these years, considering putting your wedding band beside them but deciding in the end it looked far better on your finger.

U = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?): 

• Well, it used to be alcohol, but he’s been on a mission to find a healthier alternative for the sake of himself and everyone around him. Video games serve as a good distraction but they’re far more fun when he’s playing with you and his nieces, and in the end, it turns out the best way for him to ignore the cravings for alcohol is to surround himself with people he knows want to love and support him. It’s not always easy for him to relax knowing all the things he does but he’s not trying to work himself into an early grave so he’ll try to just lay down and shut his brain off for a few hours to get some type of momentary peace.
