“So do I get a goodnight kiss?”

Your words hadn’t been entirely serious, you’d never have Hifumi do something he didn’t want to, but you thought it was a fitting joke considering how the night had gone. You’d ended up walking him home from his job, helping him get away from a group of ladies who seemed insistent on harassing him, navigating down the streets of Shinjuku until you finally arrived at his humble abode. Doppo was already snoring away inside with about ten missed calls from Hifumi who had been in desperate need of help but you’re grateful his roommate is such a heavy sleeper as you wouldn’t have gotten to see the blonde man of your dreams otherwise.

“Of course,” Hifumi winked, “What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn’t give a thank you gift for your generosity?”

At the most you expected a quick kiss on the cheek and you grew nervous as Hifumi lingered closer, the smile on his face just as cute as it’d always been without a single hint of deviousness behind it. He leaned in and you turned your head to help the process along, eyes squeezing shut and squeaking as his hand is suddenly on your face. He gave you a pout like you hadn’t listened to him and once you were facing him again, he moved quicker this time around and planted a kiss square on your lips. You were left quite stunned as he pulled away, registering the faint taste of alcohol and strawberry lip balm.

“Why don’t you come inside? I don’t want you to wait out here alone for a taxi.”

“A-ah, I came here to help you… I don’t want to impose…”

“Don’t mind~ Come in, come in! I want to talk some more,” Hifumi stated with a look on his face that hinted talking wasn’t the only thing he was interested in.

Needless to say, you got a lot more than just a goodnight kiss.
